How Jesus' Death and Resurrection Bring Renewal to Our Lives

Renewal is about transformation and change. The Bible teaches that humanity is in need of transformation and change and that this transformation can only come through a relationship with God. Renewal is about being made new and living in a new way.

Jesus' death and resurrection are the ultimate acts of renewal. According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" The death and resurrection of Jesus are the means by which God brings renewal and transformation to humanity, as people are given the opportunity to be made new through their faith in Jesus.

Renewal is made possible through the power of the Holy Spirit. According to Titus 3:5, "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit." The Bible teaches that renewal is made possible through the power of the Holy Spirit, who works in the hearts of believers to bring about transformation and change.

Renewal brings hope for the future. According to Revelation 21:5, "He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!'" The Bible teaches that renewal brings hope for the future, as God is working to bring about a new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. This hope gives believers the strength to persevere in difficult times and to live in a way that reflects their faith.

Renewal is an ongoing process. The Bible teaches that renewal is an ongoing process that is not yet complete. According to Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." The process of renewal involves a continual transformation of the mind and heart, as believers seek to live in a way that is pleasing to God.

Our biblically-based beauty products offer a tangible reminder of renewal. By caring for ourselves and embracing our unique beauty, we can each experience a sense of renewal and transformation on a small scale, which can remind us to live out our faith and grow closer to God.

Here are some Bible verses related to Jesus' renewal in the NSV translation:

  • "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit." - Titus 3:5

  • "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." - Psalm 51:10

  • "For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams." - Isaiah 44:3-4
