Trust That She Will Trust In He

Trust That She Will Trust In He

Hannah's story is an example of trusting God's plan. After years of being barren and enduring the mocking of her husband's other wife, Hannah turned to God in prayer and put her trust in Him.

Hannah then trusted God as seen in how she dedicated her son Samuel to God's service. In 1 Samuel 1:27-28, Hannah says:

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord."

By dedicating Samuel to God, Hannah showed her faith and trust that God had a plan for her son's life, even if it meant not having him with her. This act of trust eventually led to Samuel becoming a great prophet and judge in Israel. She also trusted that God had a plan for her life and when Hannah fulfilled her promise to the Lord, he blessed her with many more children.
